Brush Painting Techniques

The black and grey ink is applied in one spontanuous brushstroke. When the ink is dry or half dry, white acrylic paint is added on the backside of the paper. Blue, yellow and grey are painted layer over layer, taking care that transparency is kept. Each layer has to dry before applying another layer. Then the painting is wetted and glued to another transparent piece of ricepaper. Next day the painting is dry and stretched. |
